The International Speech & Debate Academy
The International Speech and Debate Academy is committed to building new speech and debate programs around the world and to connecting existing programs to the growing ecosystem of international competition.
In partnership with the Harvard Debate Council (HDC), ISDA supports this mission by providing implementation and operational capacity across key programmatic areas. These include student instructional classes, intensive camps, tournament administration support and training, and teacher certification and professional development.
Together, ISDA and the Harvard Debate Council collaborate on strategic planning and curriculum design while leveraging ISDA’s implementation expertise to translate mission into scalable, high-quality programming that strengthens debate ecosystems at the local, regional, and international levels.

The ISDA works directly with students to provide top-tier speech & debate training. Students can join a host of classes where they will learn a variety of topics from trained instructors.

The ISDA will be hosting an online workshop for students and teachers on February 28th from 10:00am ET to 1:00pm ET.
This workshop will feature lessons and practices on the fundamentals of public speaking and argumentation and will provide an introduction to the ISDA offerings from top teachers!
When: February 28th from 10:00am ET - 1:00pm ET.
Cost: $75.00 per person (nonrefundable).
